Is it real silver?

Yes. Every silver piece is solid .999 fine silver — real, weighable precious metal, not plated or filled. Each one is stamped .999, and ships with a handwritten certificate signed by our family. Bronze pieces are solid bronze, not plated, and carry the same certificate.

Silver or bronze — which should I choose?

Same design, same mold, same hands. The difference is the metal and the price: .999 fine silver at $195, bronze at $125. Silver reads cooler and brighter, with the oxidation settling dark in the low places. Bronze is browner and heavier in tone, closer to something dug up than something bought. Silver is the precious metal and holds its value as one.

Why .999 fine silver?

Pure silver, poured thick. No copper in the alloy, so there's nothing to react against your skin. It's the metal we've poured since 2018, and every piece is solid through — never hollow, never filled.

Will it tarnish?

It will, and it should. Silver darkens over time — that's the metal doing what metal does. On a hand-finished piece it settles into the low places and throws the raised surfaces forward. Most men leave it. If you want the brightness back, a polishing cloth takes thirty seconds. Bronze is meant to patina; it's the whole character of the piece.

How big is it, and how heavy?

Every design is different — exact dimensions in millimeters are listed on each product page. Solid through, not hollow, with real weight behind it.

How long is the cord, and will it fit?

Each pendant comes on a heavy 4mm braided leather cord, 22 inches — the classic men's length, sitting right at mid-chest. Durable and ready to wear out of the box.

What comes with my order?

A hand-sealed gift box, the braided leather cord, and a handwritten certificate from our family. Ready to wear, or ready to give.

Will it turn my skin green?

.999 fine silver won't — that reaction comes from copper, and there is no copper in it. Bronze is a copper alloy, so on some skin it can leave a temporary mark. It washes off and it doesn't harm anything. Our Protective Seal is applied by hand to exactly the surfaces that meet skin; add it at checkout. If that's a dealbreaker, choose silver.

Can I wear it in the shower or swimming?

Water won't hurt it. Chlorine and salt water will dull the finish faster, and soap builds up in the hammered recesses. We'd take it off for the pool and the ocean. Day to day, don't think about it.

Can I return it?

Yes. Wear it for 30 days. If it isn't right, send it back for a full refund — we only ask that it returns in the condition it left in. Personalized and custom pieces are the exception. If anything arrives damaged or flawed, we repair or replace it, no question and no time limit.

How long until it ships?

Every piece is made to order. Please allow 1–2 weeks to craft and prepare your piece before it ships. You'll get tracking the moment it's on its way — an heirloom is worth the short wait.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility.
