A jackal's head. Ears up, muzzle down, watching.
Jackals dug at the shallow graves along the desert edge, so the Egyptians handed them the job. The animal that came for the dead became the one who guarded them. Anubis kept the scales honest — the heart on one pan, a single feather on the other — and the embalmers who prepared the body worked in his mask while they did it. He is on more tomb walls than any god who came after him.
Poured in .999 fine silver, hand-finished, with the planes left broad and the hammer marks left in. Darkened in the recesses so the eyes, the inner ears, and the line of the muzzle hold their depth. 38mm tall.
Ships on a 22-inch black braided leather cord, 4mm, with a gunmetal magnetic barrel clasp. Sits mid-sternum.
Every piece is numbered and the mintage is capped. When the number is gone, the piece is retired.
Founders: every order placed during the founders window ships with a numbered .999 fine silver anvil. It is never sold, and it will not be poured again once the window closes.
