The seal is a clear coating applied by hand at the bench, after the piece is poured, oxidized, and relieved. It goes on thin, sits in the low places without clouding them, and locks the finish exactly where it was the day it left Vermont. The oxidation stays where it was put. The high points stay bright.
It goes on the back face and the edges — the surfaces that meet skin and shirt — so the front of the piece is untouched.

Geri and Freki. The names mean the same thing — the greedy one, the ravenous one. Whatever was set in front of the god he gave to them, every scrap, and lived on wine alone. The old poem says it plainly: the Father of Armies feeds his wolves and needs no food himself.
He did not chain them. He did not starve them into obedience. He kept them fed and kept them close, and they went where he went.
Every man has a pair. The hunger that gets him out of bed and the one that would eat him alive if he let it. You do not kill them. You feed them what you decide, and you keep them where you can see them.

Fit
Fits wrists 6¼ – 7¼ in. Measure around your wrist where the cuff will sit, snug but not tight. Slides on from the side over the narrow edge of the wrist and sits with the wolves on top. This is a thick-walled piece and sits closer than a thin cuff. If your wrist is outside this range, contact us before ordering — we can pour to fit.
